So here is a smoothie to help you boost your vitamin c intake this winter. You can always add additional fruits and veggies according to your taste or what you have available.

Vitamin C booster smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, stemmed and diced
  • 1/2 orange, peeled and cut into segments
  • 1 large carrot, cut into small chunks
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup of low fat milk
  • handful of ice
