Seasons Greetings

I’m sure you have heard this statement before: “Eat with the seasons”. But why should we eat seasonally? Well, there are numerous reasons to eat with the seasons.

The first reason being, abundance and of course the fact that in season produce costs much less and it is more readily available and did not have to be imported from  another country! Then the second reason being that in season produce tastes much better, because it has been ripened naturally by the weather conditions it is most suited for and hasn’t been refrigerated for an extended period. And the third reason is of course the fact that it offers you variety and forces everyone to explore with different fruits and vegetables each season!
